Brief Description
In the Listen to Me performance for the 2021 CCTV Spring Festival Gala for the Year of the Ox: A giant golden bull led four calves to the rippling golden wheat field. Among the wheat waves, the bull and the calves wagged their heads, blinked, and wiggled their ears as they looked around charmingly. The vibrant scene of the autumn harvest impressed billions of audience.
The modern carving techniques, traditional marionettes, buildings, mechanical transmission, and other techniques are specifically designed for the on-stage performance of the mechanical bull! The Giant Golden Bull adopts the transmission principle of marionettes, so that the installation is lightweight and apt for stage performances, and can also guarantee the vitality of the installation. Various mortises, tenons, and connecting rods are fitted in the torse of the bull, which were like a Luban Lock. The true-to-life Giant Golden Bull is created by fusing the most traditional scientific techniques with modern ones.
